Best K-Cup Coffee Alternatives

The Keurig is a wonderful alternative to brewing a full pot of coffee or buying a cup of coffee each morning, but did you know there are a number of K Cup coffee alternatives? The growing selection of K Cups that aren't coffee has made the Keurig's popular even more widespread. Tea, hot chocolate, and hot cider are all available in K-Cups, so even people who don’t like coffee can make their favorite drinks.

All in all there's about 50 different hot teas on Keurig's website. They range from well known brands to specialty tea K Cups. Everything from chai tea to green tea to fruit teas are ready to use and can be made in about a minute. Variety packs, available in several brands, are great for exploring different types of tea. I've listed a few tea K Cups to get you started.

There are a number of hot coco K-Cups available. Because the K Cup has the two cup settings, you can make a cup of hot chocolate exactly to your liking. Another option is to mix one with a coffee K cup.

While not as common, hot cider K Cups are another option. As the Keurig does the brewing, the aroma will fill the air (trust me :). K-Cups don’t need refrigeration, so hot cider K Cups free up fridge space.

As you can tell there are plenty of K Cup coffee alternatives available. Even if you love coffee, sometimes you can get burnt out drinking the same coffee over and over. I like to work in a noncoffee K Cup to break up my day to day.
